Alpha version — this notice describes how the invitation-only EDLYNK Alpha handles personal data today.
This notice explains what information EDLYNK collects, why, who can see it, and the choices you have.
Account and profile information
Name, email address, password (stored securely by our authentication provider, never in plain text), language preference and the role you choose (expert, organization or training provider).
Talent Passport
For experts: headline, expertise, industries, delivery languages and modes, locations served, experience, education, certifications, availability and portfolio items. Your Passport is private until you publish it; once published, signed-in organizations and training providers can view it.
Each fact shows its status. "Self-reported" means you provided it. "Pending verification" means you submitted supporting evidence that awaits an EDLYNK reviewer. "Verified by EDLYNK" means a reviewer checked that evidence for that single fact, not for you as a person. Evidence files are never shown on your Passport.
CV uploads
If you start from a CV, the file is stored privately and used to suggest Passport content that you review before anything is saved. Organizations never see your CV file or extraction details.
Credential and evidence submissions
Evidence you upload (PDF, PNG or JPEG, up to 5 MB, up to 3 files per fact) is stored privately. It is never shown on your Passport or to organizations. Only authorized EDLYNK reviewers can open it, each time through a short-lived link, and every opening is recorded. Credential identifiers are never displayed to organizations. If a verification is unsuccessful, only you and EDLYNK reviewers can see that; others see the fact as self-reported.
Organization information and Requirements
Organization name, type and location, the members of the organization, and the Expertise Requirements they create. Requirements are private to the organization; invited experts see only the opportunity details shared with them.
Matching, invitations and sourcing activity
EDLYNK compares published Talent Passports with confirmed Requirements and records match results, shortlists, invitations, responses and selection decisions for the organization. Match scores, rankings, shortlist and evaluation notes are internal to the organization and are never shown to experts.
Engagement records and commercial terms
When an organization sets up an engagement, EDLYNK records the agreed scope, dates, deliverables, progress, completion details and an activity history. Commercial terms (such as an agreed fee) are visible only to the engaged expert and to the organization's owners, admins and managers. EDLYNK does not process payments.
Verified Delivery Records
When an organization confirms completion, a Verified Delivery Record is added to the expert's Talent Passport. It shows the expertise area, engagement type, industry, delivery mode, city and country, language, delivered dates, delivery days or sessions and participant count.
The organization chooses whether its name appears or the record shows "Confidential client". Fees, commercial terms, private notes and internal identifiers are never part of the record.
Notifications
EDLYNK shows in-app notifications about invitations, responses, engagements and completion. Account emails (such as email verification and password reset) are sent by our authentication provider.
Where data is stored and who processes it
Data is stored with our hosting and database providers, which process it on EDLYNK's behalf under appropriate safeguards. We do not sell personal data or use it for advertising.
Your choices and rights
You can edit your Talent Passport, unpublish it, and request access to, correction of or deletion of your personal data by contacting the EDLYNK team. Some records (such as confirmed engagement history) may be retained where needed to keep the platform's records accurate for the other party.
